As the redistributionists continue to take wealth away from the wealthmakers and dish it out to the compliance types, overseers, and assorted other petty regulators, we witness people like Mark Olsen of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board making $600,000+ annually. The PCAOB, of course, is a "private sector" non-profit company that was created by the federal government for the purposes of enabling the federal government to oversee, dictate, and regulate the corporate audit industry according to federal standards. The PCAOB Board members get paid a skimpy $500,000 per year.
Oh yeah - and Mark Olson is a former Federal Reserve Governor. Same hat, different office.
