Charlie Daniels was a one-hit wonder - I don't care what you say. But like a'lotta those blue-collar heroes, he has a big following. Here he is on the war and on Mexicans. To him, American imperialist adventures are "freedom" and a bunch of Mexicans crossing the border is the real problem. Oh, yea, and he also laments that those "sissy" antiwar types are nowhere near being "real men" - as opposed to those Marines killing civilians in Iraq to defend our "freedom."
I am so tired of this military-worshipping, warmongering, pseudo-patriotic, flag-waving shit from these bloated, no-talent country music podunks that have scored fame and fortune from 9-11 and their "God Bless America" routines. And you wonder why stereotypes exist? Think Jeff Foxworthy....
