I've been getting lots of comments on my recent health stuff. Check out this Lipitor ad. I'm all for advertising, however, I'm also against the subsidies these drug companies receive, and the patents and other statist means they have toward empowerment. The cholesterol swindle is a huge cash cow right now. And note that the ad has a thin, pretty female - and she's about a size 3 - who is sending the message: even healthy, slender people are at risk, and thus need to take Lipitor. The whole world, indeed, is going to die of high cholesterol and thus needs to swallow this garbage. Of course, nevermind the fact that the "250" number flashed in the ad may be perfectly ok in her case! Cholesterol is a quality issue as vs. being about pure quantity.
