Oh no! Say it isn't so! The father of a dead soldier has come out with a butt-biter of sorts. Though, understand, he really doesn't *criticize* Jessica personally, and rightly so, he's criticizing the whole process of this sham, from beginning to end.
It looks like Jessica's book will be out shortly. It will be written by Rick Bragg, a guy who left the New York Times over the stringer-intern scandal. Bragg was said to be an abuser of the process that brought on the whole scandal at the Times. In other words, he carries a certain stench with him.
Funny, the government insisted that Jessica Lynch had "amnesia," and therefore, could not recall the events of her accident and capture. How will she manage to tell the story for a book? And do it so quickly? I have an answer for that: some folks really buy the whole Lynch propaganda, and, they buy the fact that she has "amnesia." Then they refuse to relate this fact to her being able to dictate facts for a book. Lynch has only been home a short time and the book is due out, on the shelves, in two months. A big "hello?" goes out.
And one final note: we can gauge the stupidity of America overall by looking at the numer of sales from this worthless piece-of-trash book.
